The hero is well versed in the Force, which he can use for various purposes. In combat, Cal can swing his lightsaber, almost instantly slashing down opponents. For example, he can summon vines from nearby trees to swing over precipices. One of the escapees is Cal Kestis, a young padawan hiding on the remote scavenger planet of Brecca. Combat gives the player points that can be used to upgrade the hero's abilities. He can also use a Force push to pave his way, such as breaking down a damaged door. As a Jedi, Cal uses a lightsaber.
