The production is set in a fantasy world and, according to its creators, offers a fresh approach to the RTS (real time strategy) genre. Observing the action from above, from the so-called Isometric perspective, the player controls his hero and moves around the three-dimensional map , talking to characters, completing tasks, searching for artifacts and fighting enemies. LornSword: Winter Chronicle is a hybrid of an action game and a real-time strategy game. The independent studio Tower Five is responsible for the creation and release of this title and it is his debut project.GameplayGameplay in LornSword: Winter Chronicle combines elements of strategy games (such as the Warcraft or Age of Wonders series ) and hack'n'slash productions (such as Diablo ). At the same time, however, missions often require us to take control of various troops, manage resources and develop a base, thanks to which our armies gain new tactical possibilities. The game also has a local cooperative mode that allows two people to face the challenges it poses. As a result, we get a hybrid that is somewhat similar to what we know from the SpellForce series - with the difference that in the case of Tower Five's work, the pace of the game is slightly faster, which forces you to make quick decisions.
