Along the way, he ends up in a mining town, which in unexplained circumstances becomes empty. In the game, we will fight many boss fights using standard weapons (swords, shields) and special skills. Chasm is a new brand that is a combination of a 2D platformer in a fantasy atmosphere and elements characteristic of the action-cRPG genre. The creators put the main emphasis on fairly free exploration of the world, and unlocking the next levels is associated with acquiring the necessary abilities and powers.The authors have prepared six vast areas in which we will have to talk to a few NPCs, avoid deadly traps, solve environmental puzzles, overcome numerous monsters and discover the secrets of the mine. The production offers two game modes (normal and hardcore), the more difficult of which is intended for the most experienced players, among other things due to the fact that it generates the content of locations on the fly, thanks to which they are never identical. The game was developed by the independent Discord Games studio, which is responsible for smaller indie productions, such as Take Arms and 48 Chambers.StoryThe plot tells the story of a soldier returning home from a long war. Our character is stopped by supernatural forces and decides to eliminate them in order to save the inhabitants and eventually return to his home.GameplayThe authors of the game, when developing the gameplay model, were primarily inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from 1997, the first parts of The Legend of Zelda and Diablo and Metroid from 1986.
